Day 1 - Laying the Vision

Introduction by Secretary Ruby, a word from the steering committee followed by keynote speaker, Peter Harnik.

Tackling Resources for Trail Maintenance including Bradley Schmalzer (Kanawha Valley Trail Alliance), Ella Belling (Mon River Trails Conservancy), & Matt Yeager (WVDNR). Moderated by Kent Spellman.

Unique Trail Successes of West Virginia including Owen Mulkeen(Friends of the Cheat), Frank Jorgensen (Bright Enterprises), & Breanna Shell (City of Huntington). Moderated by Nathan Hilbert.

Day 2 - Trail Planning

All things trail planning with Rich Edwards (OEDC) and Jeremy Wimpey (Applied Trails Research)

Working with private land owners with Rick Landenburger(West Virginia Land Trust), Bill Wells (Mountain State Trails Alliance), & Jeffery Lusk(Hatfield McCoy Regional Recreation Authority). Moderated by Amanda Pitzer.

Communicating Trail Impacts with Bill Currey(Coal River Group), James Hersick(Hersick & Webster), Brandi Horton(Rails-to-Trails Conservancy). Moderated by Kelly Pack.

Day 3 - Engaging Elected Officials

Engaging at the state level with Andrea LaFontaine, Sen. Dennis Kruse, & Rep. Kent Smith. Moderated by Brian Housh and Jeremy Morris.

Engaging at the local level with Amy Goodwin, Amy Dingle, Mayor Sam Felton. Moderated by Brian Housh and Jeremy Morris.

Closing keynote with Augie Carlino discussing the Great Allegheny Passage.
